CDAC New Course DASDM 2014 Details, Admission

CDAC's Diploma in Advanced Software Development Methodologies (DASDM) course is targeted towards students who wish to venture into the domain of computing. The DASDM course aims to groom the students to enable them to work on current technology scenarios as well as prepare them to keep pace with the changing face of technology and the requirements of the growing IT industry. After the completion of the course, students can work as software developer, programmer, tester, System Analyst and the like, in the IT industry and associated service sectors. The Diploma in Advanced Software Development Methodologies (DASDM) course is targeted towards students who wish to venture into the domain of computing. Course Fee Details of DASDM

The total course fees of DASDM course is Rs. 80,000/- plus taxes extra as applicable by Government of India. The fees of DASDM course is to be paid in four installments as provided in the table below:

The candidate has to pay the admission fees and Tuition fees in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “C-DAC ACTS” payable at Pune from any nationalised bank. The Demand Draft has to be submitted in person at the Training centre where he/she wishes to join. The list of training centres are given on the website.

The Second, Third and Fourth term tuition fees has to be deposited before the course commencement.

The course fee includes the cost of course delivery, computer lab usage, examinations, final mark-list/certificate, and placement assistance provided at the training centre. Candidates may take note that no cheque or cash will be accepted towards payment of any installment of fees.

The Admission fees and Tuition fees once paid shall not be refunded in any circumstances.

Application form can be filled online from the website www.acts.cdac.in.

The application fees of Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six hundred only) is to be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “C-DAC ACTS” payable at Pune drawn on any nationalized bank.

Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- has to be submitted to the training centre where the student wish to take admission for the course. The facility of online payment gateway to pay the application fees of Rs. 600/- using the credit card or debit card is also available on the website.

CET of CDAC DASDM

         The admission to the DASDM course is through a Common Entrance Test (CET) which shall be conducted twice for a batch. The syllabus of the CET comprises of the following: 

Computing Awareness (40 questions)
Evolutions of computers, Computer generations, Computer organization, Primary and Secondary storage, Input-output devices, Computer software, Operating systems, Data communications and computer networking, Multimedia, Classification of computers,Algorithms, Flow charts, Fundamentals of Programming, Utility Software, Computer Security, etc.
