The first batch of degree courses under the newly-introduced choice based credit semester system (CCSS) is going to be pass out this academic year. Even though the classes of sixth semester for the first batch of students, was commenced last Monday, the university could publish only the results of first and second semester examinations, of the batch. The authorities are still not ready to announce the dates in which the results of third and fourth semesters are to be published.

The students and teachers complain that the university did not issue the score card of the students, along with the second semester results. It is to be noted that the score card is necessary to submit the application for revaluation or scrutiny of answer sheets.

Majority of the portions of the first and third semester courses, areyet to be finished as the announcement of the date for the commencement of classes of second and fourth semester, was unexpected, he said.

He also pointed out that the delay in the third semester examination also affects the sixth semester students who applied for their supplementary examination, which are to be conducted along with the third semester examinations.
