Melghat Tiger Darshan tourists Service Details
MELGHAT Tiger Project has started the special service for tourists wishing to go in Melghat. Special 'Melghat Darshan' service has been started for tourists and it will be conducted on two days in a week, informed Mr Dinesh Tyagi. Field Director. Melghat Tiger Project.
He was speaking in the Global Tiger Day programme organised the other day at nature interpretation center of the department here.

Speaking further. Tyagi said that Melghat Tiger Project is a rich place for tourism. Tourists can take different experience in all three seasons as nature exhibits its beauty differently round the year. Waterfalls in rainy season, shivering cold in winter and summer beauty can attract tourists round the year. Melghat is a rich resource place for nature researchers, he said.
Tyagi further informed that MTR will arrange tours in the tiger project on every Friday and Saturday and tourists will have to do advance booking. Tourists will be taken to Shahnoor in Akot tehsil and Semadoh in Chikhaldara in a 17-seater bus. Adventure snorts, treks, forest Safari, slay in huts and food will be provided 10 tourists. Tourists will be shown film on tiger while facility of tribal dance can also be made available on affordable charges. Interested tourists should contact at Nature Interpretation Centre at MTR for booking and information, appealed Dr Tyagi. He also hoped that this will provide employment to local tribal youths.
