Shalarth Payment Not Received 2014, Payment Problems in Shalarth Yojana 2014 Payment Scheme

SECONDARY and Higher Secondary leaching and non-leaching staff in the district are not paid salary for the month of March even as April is about to end. Thanks to Shalarth Yojana. the new online payment scheme launched in the district.

The payments are delayed due to implementation of "Shalarth" in which thousands of teaching and non-teaching employees from over 400 secondary and higher secondary schools have to be registered online. The programme was launched in January and the schools were given two months period is register their schools and enroll the entire staff of the schools.

A number technical problems have come up during the process. The process is supervised by District Pay-Unit for schools. District Education Office and Pay Unit had also arranged training programmes for the concerning clerks regarding the registration of staff for the online scheme.

However, the training did not result in completing the work early. Sources informed that there are a number technical irregularities in appointments of teachers, pay fixations, seniority lists, etc. 

Court cases which arc pending are other hurdles in the way to complete the process of all the schools in the district. On the other hand there are no directions to pass offline salary bills, informed sources.

Vidarhha Junior College Teachers' Association and Zilla Mukhya-ahyapak Sangh have intervened asking the authorities to postpone the online hill process for a couple of months or to pass bills of the institutes where no technical problems have come up.

However, there are few chances that the teaching and non-teaching will receive payments by April end.
