Maharashtra MBBS Admission 2014 Details, Schedule - Medical Admission, PG Admission, BDS Admission Dental 

APEX Court has fixed the schedule for the admissions to health sciences courses (MBBS) and Post Graduate. It has fixed the final date of admission for PG medical courses July 10 and last date for MBBS admission is September 30.

Apex Court in its order said. "We have already passed an order on March 14. 2014 fixing up the schedule for counselling in Post Graduate Medical and Dental courses for Slates as well as All India Medical quota. If any of the authorities of the States or the Union of India do not comply with the schedule, they will suffer the risk of contempt as also the risk of this court not altering the time schedule for any round of counselling."

The Court has given schedule which is also applicable for BDS admissions. The Medical Council of India will notify the schedule.

Meanwhile in a meeting of Pravesh Niyaniran Samiti (Admission Control Committee) of Maharashtra it was decided to constitute committee to monitor the admissions to health sciences courses as per the Apex Court order.

The committee has decided to direct institutions that they should follow the schedule of admissions as directed by Supreme Court and High Court. The colleges need to submit their admission details within 15 days after the cut-off dates as prescribed by the appropriate authority, on-line.

Expert Committee of Pravesh Niyantran Samiti shall he headed by Director. Medical Education and Research who will appoint two other members who shall be drawn from the officers of Medical Education and Research Department and who shall not below the ranks of Deputy Director. The Committee will verify the merit list of the admitted students, where the admissions have been granted through Centralised Admission Process for first year Medical and Dental, where the admissions done in violation of triple test, same are to he brought to the notice of Samiti. Committee will verify the merit lists of the admitted students, where the admissions done through institute level, vacancy against CAP minority quota and admissions against NRI quota medical and denial (UG and PG). Committee will submit the reports for the academic year 2013-14 to Samiti hefore November 15. 2013.
