Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology that are listed below on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
The GATE committee, which comprises of representatives from the administering institutes, is the sole authority for regulating the examination and declaring the results.
Dates Of Examination GATE 2014
GATE 2014 examinations will be held during forenoon and afternoon on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014. Examinations for some of the papers in GATE 2014 will be held in multiple sessions. Exact details regarding complete examination schedule will be notified at a later date.
Examinations for all the 21 papers will be conducted by an ONLINE MODE only Computer Based Test (CBT).
Application fee of GATE 2014
Candidates have to apply only ONLINE For GATE 2014
- Rs 1500 for General/OBC male candidates
- Rs 750 for women candidates
- Rs 1500 for General/OBC other candidates
- Rs 750 for the SC/ST/PD category candidates.
The Application fee can be paid either online or through a bank challan via SBI or Syndicate Bank.
The application fee is non – refundable
