DTE CAP Round 2 Wrong Vacancy Status on website?

THE technical glitch in DTE website displaying improper engineering seat vacancy numbers available for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) round -II. has created lot of confusion among students. Most of the colleges are also in for shock since the data about seat availability in their respective institutions is not correctly reflected on DTE website which is the only source for CAP round aspirants to finalise their admissions. On Tuesday, the second round of CAP for Engineering began. The students have lo fill up the options till July 4. Students do check the available vacancies before the filling up of forms. When students checked the vacancies, some of them noticed the mistakes in it. Colleges pointed out this mistake and appealed students not to get perturbed and fill up the options as per their plan.
When asked about this development. DTF- admitted that some mistakes took place and those would be corrected soon.
