If you've applied for GATE 2012,then you may need to know the status of your application.This can be done through official site of GATE .You need to follow few simple steps that i've given below.

How to know GATE 2012 Application Status ?

1. Goto the offcial site of GATE where you've applied for.

For eg;) the list is given below.(You can check your zone below)

      Zone-1: Indian Institute of Science        Bengaluru
      Zone-2: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
      Zone-3: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
      Zone-4: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
      Zone-5: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
      Zone-6: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur 
      Zone-7: Indian Institute of Technology Madras 
      Zone-8: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee

2. Then ,choose the option "GATE 2012" from the left sidebar of the website.

3. Then Click "APPLICATION STATUS" from the top menu option.

4. Enter your 7 Digit Application number and know your status.
