Directorate of examination has announced the examination time table for SSLC popularly known as Secondary school leaving certificate for the year 2014. The Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations will be held from 26th March to 9th April. Around 10.5 lakh aspirants will be writing this examination. As far as the divisions of timings are concerned, it goes as follows.However, if the analysis of previous year examination is done of males and females then females came on the top in class ten examinations with nearly 89 per cent of them passing the Tamil Nadu government conducted exam. These examinations were the first set of examinations which were held under the uniform education syllabus. In all 86 per cent of students cleared the examination i.e. 11 lakhs students.The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (TNBSE): Directorate of Government Examinations was formed in February 1975. TN board conducts exams for Board of Secondary Education (SSLC) and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations (HSC). Lakhs of students appear for the examination every year.
