Students demand re-exam of 'tough' Physics paper HSC 2013 Exam

Students demand re-exam of 'tough' Physics paper HSC 2013 Exam

IRKED over a lough Physics paper, hundreds of students on Wednesday demanded re-examination or award of marks for questions not based on board prescribed format and for what (hey claimed was out of syllabus. A group staged demos at Futala against Maharashtra Education Board.
The state-wide agitation over the issue has picked up momentum and many parents complained that there was not adequate gap for the paper. This being the first year of paper based on CBSE course introduced by state board, the Board should have stuck to formal, parents claimed. However, about questions from outside text-book, a very few could point out actual questions and no physics teacher has so far substantiated the claim made by agitating students.
Chairman of Nagpur Divisional Board  made it clear that the formal of paper was conveyed 10 teachers of all approved schools and colleges well in advance and special training sessions were held. About tall claims made by many tuitionclassesand guidebooks, he dismissed their claim about some sort endorsement by the Board and stated that students were apparently misguided by tuition classes.

The physics paper was very difficult.
People were crying outside the exam centres.
Don't play with our futures and make us lab rats.
This is going to affect our careers!
I am going to appear for other exams like VITEEE and BITSAT.
Here they require a minimum percentage in boards. I have scored well in mock exams of these and I was confident of getting through.
But the maharashtra board physics paper has put my eligibility in doubt.
The boards claims that it is upgrading the education but it is us students who are suffering. Won't maharashtra lag behind in national institutes because of this??
And before suddenly changing syllabus one should think about making teachers more capable.

We demand justice and a re-exam or lenient checking!

Stop this nonsense!
Even good deserving students are suffering because of the few 'wise' people who work for the board and for the 'betterment' of education.

Setting such bizzare timetables and papers in times when there is debate upon the very need of board exams is a stupid move due to which lakhs of students all over the state are in tears.

Please act to accept and correct your mistake rather than ignoring us as if nothing is wrong!
