Railwav sources informed that after scrutiny of application, a total of 7.25 lakh candidates qualified to appear in the exams to conducted in five stages. Even in the last few recruitment exams conducted by Railways the average appearances were about 45-48 per cent and the trend is likely lo continue in the remaining stages despite early intimation to the aspirants.Railway administration is also likely to operate special trains on all directions to help the candidates appear in the exams and avert problems for die bonafide long distant passengers.
