The first phase of admission process through Right to Education (RTE) has started from Monday. The schools have been directed to put up banners and set up support centres so that the guardians of the students could get proper information. However, it is observed that many schools have not yet followed these direction.

From February 16 to 21 the schools have to register itself online with the administration. The process of admissions under RTE will begin from February 23. On the first day 122 schools registered itself online. 88 out of 122 are State Board schools.

'आरटीई'अंतर्गत (राईट टू एज्युकेशन) शाळांमध्ये प्रवेशप्रक्रियेच्या पहिल्या टप्प्याला सोमवारपासून प्रारंभ झाला. परंतु अनेक शाळांमध्ये यासंदर्भात उदासीनता पहायला मिळत आहे. पालकांना या प्रक्रियेची माहिती मिळावी यासाठी 'बॅनर' लावण्याचे तसेच 'सपोर्ट सेंटर' सुरू करण्याचे निर्देश देण्यात आले होते. परंतु अनेक शाळांनी याचे पालन केले नसल्याची बाब समोर आली आहे.

१६ ते २१ फेब्रुवारी या कालावधीत शाळांना 'ऑनलाईन' नोंदणी करावी लागणार आहे. त्यानंतर २३ फेब्रुवारीपासून पालकांना अर्ज करता येणार आहे. पहिला टप्पा हा शाळांच्या नोंदणीचा असून पहिल्याच दिवशी शहरातील १२२ शाळांनी 'ऑनलाईन' नोंदणी केली. यात राज्य शिक्षण मंडळाच्या ८८ शाळांचा समावेश आहे.

शाळांना माहितीचे बॅनर लावणे, पालकांसाठी 'सपोर्ट सेंटर' सुरू करणे इत्यादी निर्देश देण्यात आले आहेत. मुख्याध्यापकांच्या सभेतदेखील प्राथमिक शिक्षणाधिकार्‍यांनी याची माहिती दिली होती. परंतु अनेक शाळांनी याचे पालन केले नसून 'ऑनलाईऩ' नोंदणीदेखील करण्यात टाळाटाळ करण्यात येत आहे.

शाळांमध्ये माहितीसाठी संपर्क केला असता योग्य माहिती देण्यात आली नसल्याची बाब यासंदर्भात प्राथमिक शिक्षणाधिकारी किशोर चौधरी यांच्याशी संपर्क होऊ शकला नाही.
