Saraswat Bank Recruitment 2014 Details, Result, Selection List 

Saraswat Bank had released an advertisement inviting applications from first class B.Com / B.Sc. graduates for recruitment of 1000 vacancies of Junior Officers-marketing and Operations) in Grade B for its branches in Mumbai (500 vacancies), Thane (200 vacancies) and Pune (300 vacancies), in Maharashtra Times (Mumbai and Pune) Sakal (Pune edition) and Loksatta, (Mumbai edition) dated 23rd May,2013.

In response to the advertisement for Pune region, 2,785 applications were received, out of which 2088 candidates were found eligible. The online examination of these eligible candidates was conducted on 22nd September 2013 through the Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) at various centers in Pune. 1372 candidates appeared for the online examination.

Out of the 1,372 candidates, who appeared for the online examination, 166 passed the online examination. The interviews/ group discussions of these 166 successful candidates were held on 11th January, 2014 at YASHADA, Baner Road, Pune and sixty three candidates formed the merit list.

The Bank is now pleased to declare the waiting list of these sixty three successful candidates selected from the interviews/ group discussions held at Pune for eventual appointment as Junior Officers-(Marketing & Operations) in Grade B in the Bank in Pune Zone.

Parulkar became   its first Chairman, Mr. N.B. Thakur, the first Vice-Chairman, Mr. P.N. Warde, the first Secretary and Mr. Shivram Gopal Rajadhyaksha, the first Treasurer. These were people with deep and abiding ideals, faith, vision, optimism and entrepreneurial skills. These dedicated men in charge of the Society had a commendable sense of service and duty imbibed in them. Even today, our honorable founders inspire a sense of awe and respect in the Bank and amongst the shareholders.
