MIHAN Will create 14609 Jobs
MAHARASHTRA Government has entered into 28 memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will ensure investment of Rs. 14.838.10 crores in ambitious MIHAN project. It is also expected to create employment opportunities for 14609 persons in these industries. The MoU materialistic during the Advantage Vidarbha meet held at Nagpur in the month of February. This was informed in a written reply by Industries Minister Narayan Rane to Legislative Council on Tuesday.
From the assured investment, five companies have started production at their units here and work is under progress at six other units.
About Other Mot). they are at various stages that involves acquisition of land, permission from authorities for land purchase, taking possession of said land etc.
The Minister in the reply further stated that a five-year period is envisaged from time of entering into MoU to actual starting of production in case of assured investment.
