Advertisement for a Research Associate Position 


Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of a Research Associate, which is likely to become available from middle of December 2012 or early January of 2013. The candidate should be an enthusiastic experimentalist and he/she should have worked and have special interest in any one of the following areas:
(a) CMR/Multiferroic Materials.
(b)  Iron-based superconductors
(c)  Insulating Glasses.
The position is to be supported by the National Academy of Sciences, India (Allahabad) under the NASI-Senior Scientist Platinum Jubilee Fellowship to the undersigned.


Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Experimental Solid State Physics or Materials Science/Material Engineering with good academic record (1st Division) throughout the career.

Remuneration: Rs. 22,000 + HRA
